What exactly is a Credit Report?
filed in Credit on Nov.21, 2009
A credit report is simply a record of your credit activities. This report lists any credit-card accounts or loans you may have, the balances and how regularly you make your payments. In other words, if you are not making your payments on time, a company will be aware of this information by reading your credit report-which can have a negative effect for you. When you apply for a credit account, whether it be a credit card or revolving credit account, your score will be checked to let the lender know if you are a good candidate or not.
